It was the start of Jadyn’s second year at UCR and Angel’s first year as a transfer. They lived in the same building on campus and had a building group chat to meet everyone. He had already caught her eye earlier in the week when he showed up late to their building meeting wearing a neon pink HUF hat! lol. Jadyn messaged the group before classes started if anyone had a calculator charger and of course Angel was the one who replied that she could borrow his charger … long story short they became friends and even shared a friend group! They were inseparable

Jadyn was so surprised! She had no idea. At this time they were still doing long distance. Moving home during covid was rough for everyone, she was so excited to be able to celebrate their anniversary together in person. Jadyn was already as happy as can be. Little did she know that Angel was planning months in advance, with both of their families! They all came together to be there for their big moment. He proposed to her that morning at the beach two blocks from her parents house. Jadyn absolutely loved it! They’re both so happy that their families were able to be a part of it. Their anniversary date is so special to them that Angel chose to propose to her on the same day and they’ve chosen to marry on the same date as well!
