Question
What dates should I book my airfare for?
Answer
Airfare is entirely up to you. We are booking the Airbnb from September 23 to September 27, and will be going to Paris then Rome afterwards. The wedding date is scheduled for Friday, September 25; guests can coordinate their trip and travel dates as they see fit. You can leave early on your own trip to other countries/cities before the 25th, then meet us in Florence, or come for the big day and stay for a day or two, entirely up to you. We only ask that you reserve September 25th. :)

Where should we stay?
Answer
Please stay where you are comfortable. There are numerous Airbnb and hotel options available near our countryside location, particularly in Florence. The villa is located in Bagno a Ripoli, 9 miles (15 km) outside Florence. Our Villa is 10-25 minutes outside of Florence, depending on traffic. Guests are more than welcome to stay in Florence or find accommodations in a smaller town in the countryside. If you need assistance booking or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us! We are MORE than happy to help.

Are there plus ones?
Answer
When you RSVP, guests who were given a plus-one slot will be able to rsvp for their plus-one. Not all guests were given a plus one. Where the wedding will be held, the Villa is only able to accommodate a limited number of people on the property. Due to this, we are unable to grant all guests a plus-one.

What do I pack?
Answer
The typical daytime highs are about 81°F, and lows of 62°F, similar to Minnesota's September weather. Pack layers, and please bring comfortable walking shoes that will accommodate lots of time spent sightseeing.

Is a rental car needed?
Answer
Not necessarily - the Villa is located just outside of Florence in the countryside - but it's a quick Uber/taxi trip. If any guests decide to stay in Florence, then a rental car would be much LESS of a necessity - you would more likely use public transport to get to the Villa on 9/25 and use taxis/Ubers during your trip, if needed. One thing to note is that Italy is very accommodating for public transportation, with a well-developed metro system and an extensive bus network, especially in Florence.

What is the dress code for the big day?

We kindly request that our guests wear all-white or other light colors (such as cream/ivory/beige/tan/camel, or khaki) and dress semi-formal for the special occasion. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

While we love all our little nieces and nephews, we ask that this be an adults-only event.

Do you have a gift registry?

No, we will not be creating or using a gift registry. If you would like to give us anything, please note that it is not expected.
