All of the cliches became realities for us when we crossed paths; "When you know, you know," "It happens when you're not looking..." We first met on the very farm that we will enter the covenant of marriage before God and all of our loved ones--YOU! Charlotte was brought along to see some farm animals, and unknowingly, Jaden played tour guide. It was the most perfect late spring day, and already Charlotte had felt the Lord calling her to New Hampshire more and more. Jaden prolonged the day by taking everyone to the nearby flea market, but both left thinking "Will I ever see them again?" The next week, Charlotte was back in New Hampshire for another visit with her sister. Jaden managed to squeeze in time to reconnect and go fishing before Charlotte drove back to New York. What started as fishing (and definitely not catching) turned into a barefoot walk through the woods where conversation flowed so freely despite practically being strangers. After ending the night with a game of darts and french fries, Charlotte reluctantly drove home. Ten minutes into her drive, Jaden had already messaged her, and so began the nonstop messaging that they have done every single day since to bridge the distance that kept them apart. Neither would have ever seen themselves driving 4 hours back and forth to see each other, but God clearly put them together for a reason, no matter the distance. Every visit, even the short ones, felt like God put them exactly where they needed to be. The short visits just made every moment count, and even in the short time of sharing life together, they made the best of memories where they paddle-boarded into the sunset with lobster rolls, camped on the farm among the cows, hiked a mountain, went to many antique stores, traveled to Arizona... but the greatest memory was getting engaged. The greatest memories are yet to come, and God will always be at the center. We can't wait for you to watch our love grow and are so grateful for everyone who has supported our love story.
