What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Average high is 63 °F and the average low is 43 °F. We advise you to being a jacket since the wedding ceremony is outside.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outside at The Lakefront Garden located at the Willows Event Center. The reception will be taking place at The Lodge next to The Lakefront Garden.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors then we will make our way indoors for the reception.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Off of Westfield Blvd enter The Willows Event Center property and take a right to head towards The Lodge and The Lakefront Garden. For the ceremony walk past The Lodge along the lake to arrive at our ceremony location.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

You can RSVP online at our wedding website under the RSVP page or mail back the RSVP invite.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We can accommodate special diets. We just ask that you contact us ahead of time.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target and Crate & Barrel. You can also find our universal registry on our wedding website under the registry tab.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ZerbesWasBarnesForThis so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
