Liu's Cafe
Worth the wait. Simple, fresh and cheap menu for Taiwanese breakfast (and now dinner too). Get the spicy wontons.
Great White
Healthy Australian food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you're there for breakfast we highly suggest the banana bread. You might see a celebrity.
Dialog Cafe
Again, worth the wait. Breakfast all day <3 Great for people watching and a rare celebrity sighting. The breakfast burrito with longaniza is *chefs kiss*
Abbot Kinney Boulevard
Our favorite street to walk around. Great shopping, great food.
Blueys Mar Vista
If you make it over to the West Side, don't miss out on this spot. A tried and true, super yummy Australian food. Get some brunch, jump in the car and it's a quick drive to Abbot Kinney.
The Brig
Our favorite bar on the West Side. If it's good weather the patio is the place to be. Great band on Saturday afternoons and a great happy hour. Perfect place to people (and dog) watch.
Pine and Crane Silverlake
If you find yourself in Silverlake, especially on a Saturday, we love this spot. Great Taiwanese food. Get some food and walk down Sunset Blvd for some great shopping.
Casa Vega
Historic Mexican spot in Studio City. Vibes are immaculate (Tarantino thinks so too)
Griffith Observatory
An LA staple actually worth the hype. (Also our first date spot <3)
Blue Daisy Melrose
One of our new favorite brunch spots. If you like fancy coffee and matcha, go here. Right down Melrose, get some food and shop around. Plus side, almost never a wait!
Laurel Tavern
Our favorite neighborhood spot. Good food, good vibes, great patio.
The Getty Villa
Worth the drive. Free, but you have to pay for parking!
HomeState
Popular chain worth the hype. They're all over LA now. If you like Tex-Mex you'll love this spot.
Checker Hall
Happy Hour is awesome, gorgeous interior. Right at the end of Figueroa Street in Highland Park, start your night here and wander around for great bar hopping.
Universal Studios Hollywood
Best use of our California residency.
Hippo
One of our favorite pasta spots in the city. Do yourself a favor and get the carajillo (shaken) and coconut stracciatella gelato for dessert.

Fryman Canyon
If you're up to a walk in nature, this is a great hiking route.
Reformation Vintage
A wonderfully curated vintage collection of clothes. Feels like Carrie Bradshaw's closet.
