Once upon a late night instagram DM, Steven decided to "shoot his shot" with a witty one-liner. Unfortunately, Jade did not see this until waking up the following day. After giving his profile a look and seeing that smile and dimples, she decided to respond back. Just your classic, internet meet-cute :)

While on bae-cation in Miami, Steven decided this would be the perfect time for a proposal! The day consisted of being at the beach all day and then heading back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. Steven had contemplated proposing on the beach in front of complete strangers, so that one of them might be able to get pictures. He chickened out...Then, came dinner, where he was going to go for his 2nd attempt as we sat outside at a restaurant patio. However, he quickly realized this would not be feasible as we all know Steven could never hide something in his pant pocket, given the tightness of his classic, skinny jeans. So, he quickly thought on his feet and decided we should head to the beach after dinner for a nightly stroll. As soon as we got to the beach we sat down on a blanket and Steven told Jade, "Let's get up and stand." Of course, Jade thought it was a little odd, but did just that and when she turned around Steven was on one knee, mumbling ever so cutely and somehow eventually spit out the words, "Will you marry me?"
