We met each other while both working at Sonic, he was a cook and I a carhop. We hardly ever talked while working together except for a few instances regarding orders and light jokes. One day our coworker, Taylor, decided it would be a good idea to set us up and would talk to us individually about one another; after a few weeks Steven reached out, we talked for a while before becoming official.
