Love Story - Rynes Version

Our Story From Ryne's Perspective

Well I’m not entirely sure where to start so I’ll just start at the beginning. As embarrassing as it sounds Jade and I met each other on a dating app called Hinge, we messaged each other on there for several days before actually going on a date because Jade was out of town. Just texting back and forth I knew there was something more to her and more to us, she wasn’t the typical 20 year old woman that I was used to talking with. She knew what she wanted not only in a relationship but also in life, she had dreams and aspirations that most if not all 20 years olds wouldn’t even think about. She had her life planned with a road map of everything she wanted to accomplish. That was so rare at the time, speaking with someone that wanted more out of life than just typical 20 year old things. Anyways to fast forward we eventually went on a date, funny enough it was to an Olive Garden, super fancy I know, the moment we hugged eachother and I saw her in person I realized two things, I first noticed how beautiful she is, I knew how beautiful her mind worked but now I got to see how beautiful physically she is. I also noticed how she made me feel, I instantly felt safe, I knew she was the person I am supposed to be with. Back to the story, we went on our date and it went well enough for Jade to not allow me to go home after work for the following week, she made me stop and see her everyday after work for the following week. During that week we learned a lot about ourselves and about each other and what we wanted in each other and in the future. We learned how similar we are and that our life goals are so similar. It’s safe to say that we fell in love, I know I did. To fast forward again we ended up making things official after about a month of hanging out and going on dates together. Shortly after that Jade ended up moving in with me and that’s when we realized just how serious we were with each other. We didn’t become roommates like most couples do, we became closer and understood more about each other. I also got the privilege of seeing how good of a chef she really is. Fast forwarding again to 2025, at the beginning of the year I knew I wanted to propose and I instantly started planning and brainstorming ways to do it. Around July and August I ordered her ring and I messaged her friend Kenzie to schedule a photoshoot with Jade just so they could post pictures for their social media pages but in reality I was going to propose during the photos. Well that never happened because Jade ended up scheduling a photoshoot with her on the day I wanted and she essentially set her own proposal up without even knowing it. She picked the location, time and date all thinking it was going to be a normal photoshoot. As everyone saw it wasn’t just a regular photoshoot, her friend signaled to me when to get down on my knee and that’s what I did. My brain instantly went blank and Jade had to tell me “well are you going to say something” I followed by asking her if she would marry me. I had an entire speech planned but that went straight out of the window the moment she turned around. I’m sure I have already drug this out long enough so I will wrap it up with saying this, we are so excited to continue our adventure of life together and we are so appreciative of everyone reading this. We are so excited and grateful to spend our special day with all of you and we cannot wait to see you all there!
