We met at a Memorial Day pool party through mutual friends. A week later, Rod asked Jade out on a date to go bowling. The date ended up lasting 6 hours and after that we knew, this was something that would last!

While on a trip to 5 European cities, Rod suggested to take a ferry boat to Positano from the Amalfi Coast to site see. Upon arriving in Positano, Rod led Jade to a spot he'd seen online to get good pictures of the coast. We got to a lookout point and started taking selfies. At that point, a man walked up and offered to take a few pictures of us as he was a professional photographer. He instructed Rod to step back after a few photos together in order to take some solo shots of Jade. While the photographer started shooting away, Rod was getting down on one knee. The photographer told Jade to look back and it was then that she saw Rod and he asked her to marry him! She said "yes", of course :) We're so excited to celebrate and enter into this next chapter of our lives with you. See yall in Atlanta!
