Matt and I met in one of our high school math classes. After high school we’d see each other from time to time at a friends party or get together, but it wasn’t until we were about 23 that we became close friends. As we got into our late twenties, we both got more involved in our careers. Our hangouts more or less involved gym sessions, grabbing a bite to eat, binge watching some Key and Peele sketch comedy episodes, or writing rap lyrics to hip-hop instrumentals. (Yeah, we’re pretty cool like that.) Fast forward to 2017 when Matt told me that he’d went on a few dates with a girl from our high school named Jade. Jade and I had some mutual friends, however I didn’t know much about her. What I did remember though is that she was on the dance team and she was really good! As I got to know Jade, it didn’t take me long at all to realize that she’s wise, really nice, has good values, an awesome sense of humor, and is a perfect fit for Matt! I’m grateful for my friendship with the both of you! Thank you for letting me be part of your special day!

I have been blessed to have known Jade my entire life as one of my cousins I was fortunate to grow up with. She’s been a constant best friend, role model and influential person in my life. If there is one person in the world that will truly love you unconditionally it is Jade! When Jade and Matt reconnected, Jade was living with me and my husband Jesse at the time. I knew Matt from middle school and high school as we all grew up in Bothell together. I noticed Matt and his smooth Facebook comments/likes on Jade’s posts and I knew there was something brewing between these two. I may have not known Matt on a personal level but knew enough to be comfortable that he would be a good guy for my cousin to date. As I got to know Matt more and see the way he made Jade light up, I knew their connection was undeniable. Matt became our unofficial roomie months into them dating and I quickly learned all the reasons why Matt was meant to be in Jade’s life. Watching Jade and Matt build their life together has been an honor to be a part of, and I can’t wait to be there to celebrate another life milestone with two people that mean so much to me and many others. Proud to be your cousin Jade and thank you Matt for making her so happy. Love you both!

Matt and Nathan have been friends since the fourth grade. Even after Nathan moved and changed schools, shared hobbies kept them spending countless weekends together: Goldeneye, Pokemon, Age of Empires, Warhammer… the list goes on. When they reunited after college, a shared love of exercise was the motivation for workouts, parkour sessions and adventure races. But beyond just the things common on paper, there was always random, nonsensical and completely ridiculous humor. Most of Nathan’s best laughs of all time have been Matt’s fault. These days, living on opposite coasts, they have to settle for reunions when Nathan is in town but these are always memorable. Nathan and Jade went to Bothell High School together but only really established a friendship when she and Matt started dating. Nathan could not be happier that Matt and Jade found each other and are taking the next big step together!

I met Jade when we were 16, through dance. We spent countless weekends together practicing, performing, and eventually bonding over our bad experiences with boys. She was always easy to talk to and gave me countless rides to dance practice. I was so surprised that she would be friends with someone as weird as myself. Time later revealed that she was just as weird as I was! We ended up living together for a couple of years. Our friendship grew over Costco trips, cheap boxed wine, and over-the-top themed parties. Honorable mention to stopping EVERYTHING to watch the new episode of New Girl when the show was first released. Fast forward to 2022, as Jade embarks on her journey as a new mother and new wife. I couldn’t be more proud to be friends with such an amazing person. I love you Jade! You’re getting the “Happily Ever After” you finally deserve. I couldn’t be more ecstatic for you and Matt ♥️

The first time Matt and I met we were 4-5 years old, and we met at a mutual friend's house in the drive way on our Big Wheel tricycles. We ended up going to Shelton View Elementary, and later Skyview Junior High. We started becoming close friends in 8th-9th grade where we developed inside jokes that we still use to to this day. We also played on the 9th grade basketball team together, which is one of my fondest memories during that time of my life. Matt was one of my closest friends going through High School, and we kept our friendship going up until now. Matt has been there for me when I needed a friend to talk to, and the same goes for him. I was really happy for Matt when he reconnected with Jade after high school. She is very cool, a great listener, and I could tell she makes Matt a really happy guy. They are compatible, and make each other laugh, and stay happy together. I love the fact that I enjoy Jade's company, which is a big reason why Matt and I stay close as we get older.

Jade and I met as flutists in the 7th grade! We sat in the front row of Mr. McGinn’s class together and the rest is history! I moved to Austin for a little bit, and transferred to Kirkland Costco to get up to Seattle, and lo and behold, her mom was the one who made a spot for me at the warehouse (not knowing it was me)! Jade and I enjoy going out and getting some mountain time together. Embarrassingly enough, we’ve even hitch hiked together - Mount Si area to be exact! I have watched Jade and Matt’s relationship unfold and develop-and grow! It is so sweet to see two junior high classmates form such a strong bond. I am honored to stand up there with them on their special day. Cheers to this sweet union.

I’ve known Matt since we were in first grade. It must have been the similarity in our senses of humor that drew us together. I remember driving his mom crazy one time when she took us both to Costco. She must have been so sick of dealing with our non-stop silliness because I’m pretty sure she never took me shopping again… Matt and I went to different junior high and high schools and I moved to New York when I went to college, but he's always been one of those old friends that you just never grow apart from. I’m honored to be a part of this celebration of Matt and Jade’s future together. Cheers!

Mom rescued me from the streets of San Bernardino. I was a little rough around the edges and still need some warming up to strangers, but she saw the little buddy in me that just wanted love. Now I spend my days cuddling, demanding belly rubs, and protecting my home from the landscapers and squirrels.
