Kenny: Jade. After talking over the phone for a few months, she offered to come visit me in Charlotte which let me know she was interested. Since she was coming from Birmingham, I did not want her to drive that distance alone, so we decided to meet for a weekend in Atlanta to get to know each other.

What’s your favorite thing about each other?

Jade: I love Kenny’s temperance. He always keeps a calm demeanor which keeps me grounded. Kenny: My favorite thing about Jade is her desire to be with me. Also, we can have intelligent conversations and turn around and have the most random, but funny conversations about anything.

What was your most memorable date?

Jade: Kenny surprised me with a day out together with a couples massage, dinner at 131 Maine and then we went to an adult's arcade and played throwback Nintendo games and giant Jinga.

Couple: Going to concerts when we get a chance, bowling or shooting pool. Definitely playing outside with the kids too.

Couple: Building our family. Sometimes it feels like we are staking bricks, but it’s been worth it.

How did you know they were “the one”?

Answer

Jade: I always knew Kenny was the one (maybe that’s why I have been so patient lol) but it was confirmed after noticing when the unexpected happens in our lives, good or bad, our love and respect for one another doesn’t change, instead we learn how to shift gears together. Kenny: I knew Jade was the one because I felt a deep peace and certainty in my heart that I believe came from God.
