There are 4 major airports within an hour or so from Fredericksburg.

Amtrak/VRE

If you are coming from DC and don't want to rent a car, you can take the Metro from Reagan Airport to the train station in Alexandria and then the Amtrak or VRE from Alexandria straight into the heart of downtown Fredericksburg! If you fly into BWI, you can take a shuttle to the BWI Amtrak station from the airport. Unfortunately from Dulles or Richmond, a car (or a very expensive Uber or Lyft) is going to be your best bet.

Not downtown but very close. Just on the other side of Mary Washington University, this hotel is a short Uber or Lyft ride away from the venue.
