John started his first day of work at Lash Group and introduced himself to a group of coworkers that would be training him. Little did he know, he would meet the love of his life at this very moment. Jade and John's shifts were close in time and John frequently waited until Jade would get off work to grab boba at Eggettes and the rest was history.

Jade and John had talked about learning how to take photos of the milky way for some time. The new astrophotography feature had just been rolled out to Google Pixel 3, so Jade did intensive research on how to navigate the new feature (including downloading Stellerium and reviewing the Light Pollution Map). It was a random Friday night and Jade and John spontaneously decided to head to Pigeon Point in Pescadero, CA. The milky way wasn't visible until 11pm but Jade and John wasted no time taking test shots of the stars. It felt like such an accomplishment after getting several good photos of the milky way. It was getting late and Jade wanted to begin taking photos of them together to commemorate their first time seeing the milky way. John suggested to do some normal photos followed by some silly ones. After taking the silly photo, Jade ran towards the camera to review the picture. John yells out, "Wait!" and Jade turns around. Here he was on his knees. Jade walks towards him in shock and John pops the question. Yes has always been the answer.
