Our story began in April of 2023 when our two best friends introduced us at a mutual friends Graduation. We socialized and found a couple of mutual interests. Fast forward to July we ended up talking more and sharing our love of movies and sarcastic humor. After sharing a few things about each other later on we both found we've been to the same events at the same time just never meeting. The cherry on top, the one thing that made us grow closer was two photos, both of us on top of a turtle statue before meeting each other. A few get togethers later, it slowly showed how much each others company was pleasant, though not really sure which one of us would say it first. A pep talk later and admitting our interest for each other, we became official. Our first big stage? The jumbotron at our first Padres game together after I waved a churro at the camera. After a couple months with us ending up long distance, then having the opportunity to come together again in Pensacola FL, meeting both our families, I was blessed with the opportunity to move to Hawaii. On February 14th 2025, after waking up at 3am packing for a breakfast picnic and chasing after the sunrise, at Mokoliʻi beach our status officially changed to fiancees!!! Two months later with two of our friends, they witnessed our civil marriage at downtown Honolulu! Though it was a bitersweet moment as we could not have the wedding with everyone in Hawaii, we've decided as a 1st anniversary gift to Us, we would do a complete ceremony and reception with family and friends in Florida!
