Our love story began in Fall 2016, and it was completely random at that! We were just college friends that loved to “trash talk” one another and play around. After what became a 5 hour long conversation at Fuzzy’s Taco shop, things started to fall into place. For the next few years, we took on new adventures of traveling, exploring, and adjusting to real adult life. We grew deeper in our faith attending church and bible study groups. Grew deeper as individuals as time went on yet the goofiness never changed. Like some couples experience, life became overwhelming and began affecting our own little bubble. Eventually, it was decided for us to part ways on a different path in Fall 2019. During our time a part, we discovered more of who we desired to be, and recognized old habits that no longer served us. We took hard looks in the mirror and saw internal aspects that needed to change. And just like our initial relationship encounter, our rekindling was completely random in February 2020 (talking about fitness at that!). Over the months, we took the time to relearn each other and evaluate what a new relationship would look like. We realized that the love never truly faded and understood the changes that needed to be made for a better restart, so we tried an official relationship again. Fast forward through valleys and peaks, we pushed through and continuously remembered the love between one another. The willingness to be open to change and growth. On December 9, 2023, a new journey began with a proposal! Though our journey is far from perfect, it’s OUR story. We are excited to be embarking on a new journey of life together as husband and wife.
