We worked at the same school and the students were trying to get us to talk to each other. I, Damien, taught 6th grade, while Jada taught 7th grade. One of my students had gone up to Jada and asked her if she liked me without me knowing. She told the student that she tried to talk to me once, but apparently I had ignored her. Keep in mind, I ain't ever heard anything from her, her volume had to be at -3.2 decibels. Later on, that same student told me "Ms. Ramirez likes you, but you ignored her." I gained interest immediately. I wanted to see who she was, and for weeks I tried to find an opportunity. Then, on October 26th, 2022, at approximately 8:01 am, I found my opportunity. We were both one minute late to work. I spotted her a few meters in front of me going for the main door of the school, so I speed walked on my route to catch up. I caught up and we were now walking side by side in the hallway. Knowing who she was already, I asked for her name and what subject she taught. She did the same (obviously knowing about me as well). Now, let's transition to me, Jada. A few days later I get a work email from Damien asking me if I had tape for his class project. I responded saying I had very minimal tape, like for 3 uses only, and he said that would be fine. During the 4th and 5th period transition, Damien comes upstairs, lost, to get the tape. I saw him so I go out and he sees me coming out, and I give him the tape. EVERY STUDENT STARTED SCREAMING. Then later on, we spent every morning and afternoon together at work and the rest is history <3.
