Dylan and I met when we were in high school- 16 and 17 years old! I saw him for the first time when he walked in to the restaurant I was working at- and it was his first day training. I was assigned to train Dylan that evening in June of 2016 and we became best friends almost instantly. Following that summer, we had a class together that fall and spring before he graduated high school in 2017. Dylan and I remained friends throughout college and would meet for dinner or lunch whenever we had the chance- but never dated! It was not until June of 2023 that Dylan and I began talking about what it would look like to be together. By August, we were dating. By October of the following year, we were engaged! Below is our favorite picture; the first picture ever taken of us in the fall of 2016. We were helping our teacher organize her classroom and goofing around with her things. Dylan decided it would be a great idea to put the bear head on (he strongly dislikes photos, lol)
