We met on the last day of our ROTC Advanced Camp training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. We briefly spoke and exchanged social media before getting on the bus to the airport with little hope of connecting again because we lived more than 15 hours apart. During the first semester of our senior year, we spent a lot of time on facetime talking about anything and everything for hours. Our friendship blossomed, but we did not explore anything romantic until the later half of senior year when we decided to take a trip together for Spring Break. From that trip, we became inseparable. Despite the distance, our feelings grew tremendously. We took several trips back and forth between Mississippi and Virginia until we made it "official" after graduation. We continued a long distance relationship for a few months until Bobby moved to Virginia and the rest is history. We are very grateful to the friends and family who have encouraged us throughout the years. Being tested by distance, military assignments, typical growing pains of life, and self growth have not been easy but worth it and all our life lessons have made our bond unbreakable. We are excited to explore the next chapter of our life and look forward to celebrating with you all!
