Steve’s loyalty, work ethic, and constant presence have played a major role in shaping the man Ayris is today.

Tina Hopkins

Whether they’re talking for hours or simply enjoying each other’s company, their relationship is a true reflection of love that grows stronger with time.

Cornelius Session

Step father of the Bride

Jada’s stepdad, Neil, has loved and accepted her as his own from the start. The two share a close bond built on laughter, long talks, and family adventures. Both in the audio/visual industry, they connect over creativity, road trips, and roller coasters. Neil has always been protective, supportive, and proud of Jada. On her wedding day, he will walk her down the aisle alongside her father—an honor that reflects the love and guidance of both her dads.

Sofya Session

Sofya is the bride’s youngest sister and holds a very special place in Jada’s heart. At just 9 years old, she’s not only the baby of the family but was Jada’s “first baby” long before she became a mom herself. With 21 years between them, their bond is truly one-of-a-kind — built on love, laughter, and endless sister moments. Silly, bright, and beautiful, Sofya is a shining light and the perfect companion Jada will forever adore. 💜

Maria De La Cruz

Maria and Jada met in 2018 while working at Subway, and from day one, it felt like they had known each other forever. They instantly clicked and haven’t stopped talking since. They have been there for each other through both rough and happy times, sharing useful advice and supporting one another every step of the way. Their friendship is deeply rooted in the bond they share over their Jamaican and Bolivian heritage, adding a special cultural connection to their relationship. Their sisterhood is rooted in love, mutual respect, and a forever bond they both cherish deeply.

Chelsea Mclilly

Bridesmaid

Chelsea and Jada have been friends since senior year of high school. When Jada moved to Virginia that year, Chelsea — originally from Philly — was the first to welcome her, literally walking up and saying hello. That simple gesture sparked a lifelong friendship. Chelsea is fun, silly, and deeply caring. She's a proud Philadelphian and a dedicated nurse who knows how to hustle. Over the years, she and Jada have shared life’s biggest milestones — from coming of age to motherhood and everything in between. Their bond is rooted in loyalty, laughter, and unconditional support. Chelsea isn’t just a friend — she’s family.

Ebony Baker

Bridesmaid

Ebony and Jada met at Rutgers University in 2016, where their friendship quickly blossomed into sisterhood. From partying and studying together to being roommates and exploring Caribbean events, they experienced college side by side. Both proud of their Caribbean roots—Ebony of Trinidadian descent and Jada of Jamaican—they instantly bonded over culture, food, and late-night phone calls. Ebony is unapologetically honest, fiercely loyal, and incredibly driven. Her beauty, kindness, and respectful nature shine through in everything she does. She’s the type of friend who shows up, speaks truth, and inspires everyone around her.

Shauna’s vibrant spirit brings joy and excitement to every gathering.

Tameka Hopkins

Bridesmaid

Tameka was introduced to Jada during a double date with Ayris and Torri, Ayris’s brother and Tameka’s husband. From that first meeting, it was clear she’s a sweet and kind soul who’s a great person to just chill with. She’s also the life of the party when it comes to karaoke, bringing fun and laughter wherever she goes.

Elijah Jones

Best Man

Elijah is Ayris best man. They have been best friends since high school. They have been through it all. Late nights, dumb ideas, and way too many inside jokes. Elijah is basically my brother at this point. Couldn’t do this without him.

Mathew Scally

Groomsman

Matt is one of Ayris best friends from college. We played basketball all the time together. He’s one of those people who can make you laugh even when you’re mad he just scored on you. Off the court, he’s a solid dude and a true friend. I’m glad he’s here to celebrate with us.

Torri Hopkins

Groomsman

Torri is Ayris older brother. Even though he isn’t here with us physically, he’s still a huge part of this day and always will be. He had the biggest heart, the best laugh, and a way of making every moment better just by being there. I know he’s watching over us today, probably cracking jokes and making sure everything runs smooth.

Kye Hopkins

Man of Honor

Kye is Ayris older brother. The guy who’s been giving me advice, roasting me, and setting the example my whole life. He’s seen every version of me from the kid who used to steal his clothes to the man I am now. Even though we don’t always say it out loud, I’ve always looked up to him. Having him by my side means a lot.

Khamar Hopkins

Man of Honor

Khamar is Ayris older brother. The quiet one who somehow still manages to say the funniest stuff at the perfect time. Growing up, he was always the chill, steady one who kept everyone grounded. He’s been solid from day one and I’ve always respected the way he carries himself. I’m proud to have my brother here with me.

Akil Salter

Groomsman

Akil is Jada uncle who also has become one of Ayris good friends. Always cool, always cracking jokes, and always down for a good time. He’s got the perfect mix of humor, wisdom, and “don’t tell my niece I said this” energy.

Perry Mulubah

Man of Honor

Perry is one of Ayris best friends. They spent just as much time on the basketball court as we did throwing parties, and hitting parties. When we weren’t hooping or hosting, we were probably locked in on the game, talking trash like it was a full-time job. Through all that, we built a real brotherhood. He’s been solid from day one loyal, funny, and always down for whatever.

Eriq Arsenault

Groomsman

Eriq and Ayris met on the job, bonded over mutual work stress, and ended up as real friends. He’s one of those people who can make you laugh through anything. Always keeps it real, always down for a good time. Exactly the kind of guy you want around.

Richard Whickham

Groomsman

Rick was Ayris college roommate. We bonded over video games, trash-talking, and a shared belief that 3 a.m. was the best time to start deep conversations. We’ve stayed close ever since he’s loyal, hilarious, and one of those friends who just gets you. If you hear someone yelling “rematch!” at the reception, don’t worry it’s just him reliving our college days.

Kameron Kittrels

Groomsman

Kam is one Ayris friends from college. We studied a little, partied a lot, and somehow still graduated. He’s been my guy ever since. No matter how long we go without talking, it always feels like we pick up right where we left off. He’s that friend who makes everything more fun.

Ayris Hopkins

Groom

Kyree Hopkins

Ring Bearer

Our nephew and the coolest little guy around! He’s confident, charming, and ready to walk down the aisle with style. We couldn’t imagine anyone better to carry the rings on our special day.

Kalani Hopkins

Flower Child

Sweet, spunky, and oh-so-cute — she’s ready to sprinkle petals and charm the crowd! Her fun energy makes her the perfect part of our flower squad.

Aurora Hopkins

Flower Child

Full of sass and personality, she brings sparkle and laughter wherever she goes. Her big smile and bold spirit are sure to light up the ceremony.

Alena Hopkins

Flower Child

Just three weeks younger than Zen, these two are truly best friends in every way. From playdates to dance parties, they’re inseparable and always make everyone smile.

Zen Hopkins

Flower Girl

Zen is the light of our world and the greatest blessing we could ever receive. She’s our proof of love, our joy, and the beautiful reminder of the life we’re building together as one. Every day, she amazes us with her curiosity, kindness, and intelligence — even her doctor says she’s wise beyond her years (something Jada proudly brags about!). Zen fills our hearts with endless pride and gratitude, and we thank God every day for choosing us to be her parents.

Jamal Salter

Father of the Bride

Jamal has always been Jadas first best friend and biggest supporter. Known for his calm nature, quick wit, and endless patience, he’s the one who can make Jada laugh no matter what. The two have shared countless adventures together — from exploring the streets of New York to tagging along to his DJ gigs, always turning ordinary days into unforgettable memories. Jamal has a way of knowing exactly what to say and do, keeping Jada grounded through life’s ups and downs. Their bond is filled with laughter, love, and inside jokes that perfectly reflect the special father-daughter connection they share.

Hanifa Session

In Loving Memory of Hanifa — Mother of the Bride

My mom, Hanifa, was so excited for this day. She had already started helping me plan and talking through every little detail. Even though she’s no longer here with us physically, I feel her in every part of this celebration. She was my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my favorite person to laugh with. Our bond is something that even distance — or heaven — can’t change. My mom is still walking me down the aisle. Her love is with me every step of the way. 🤍
