How We Met

Spring Break 2017- Rio Frio River

We met on spring break down in Concan, Texas, while floating the Rio Frio river. We hung out together in a large crowd that night, but didn't really spend any time alone or talking one-on-one. Turns out, we had a lot of mutual friends. A couple of weeks after spring break, Jayton asked my roommates to convince me to go to Blue Light with him on a Tuesday night. Justana and Brittney came with us, so our first date was like a group date. We just kind of clicked after that, and slowly started spending much more time together.

The Proposal

April 27, 2019

Jayton planned the most perfect proposal for me in one week. I can't think of anything that describes him better--make a plan and get it done. Jayton had my mom ask me if the two of us would take pictures together and have them framed for her mother's day gift. We scheduled a day. In a one-week time span, Jayton told his family he was going to propose to me, asked my father for his permission and blessing, designed a ring with his great-grandmother's diamond (that I am so honored to have), scheduled a photographer, and planned our engagement party afterwards where our closest friends and family celebrated with us. I truly could not have asked for a more special and beautiful day.

The Big Day

We are so excited and blessed for you to share in our special day with us. Jayton and I are so fortunate to have such amazing family and friends that we truly cherish. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for loving us and choosing to spend your time celebrating with us. We hope you have a blast and we can't wait to see you!
