We're Getting Married!

The story begins in 2018 at Penn State, when Jacqulyn and George found themselves in the same, 9:00 AM finance class. A few things drew them together: 1. Jac realized that George was a “brainiac” and would be a great ally for the challenging semester ahead 2. Jac caught George’s attention through the confidence she showed eating hard boiled eggs in class despite their bad smell 3. Neither took themself too seriously, and they soon had a list of running jokes that had them chuckling in the back of class George began asking Jac to study almost every week. These study sessions were more about laughing and getting to know each other than they were about working on assignments. They soon upgraded to trips to Bar Bleu to share enormous “fishbowl” drinks, nights at the Phyrst watching dueling pianos during $2 happy hour, and late-night wings with movies. Jac knew George was the one when her best friend, Rachel, gave him the ultimate stamp of approval. Together, they became “The Big Three.” While Jac and George’s time at Penn State ended in 2019, their partnership grew stronger, along with the team around them. A lifelong animal lover, Jac convinced George, who had never owned pets, to visit a local animal shelter. Initially hesitant, George experienced love at first sight when he met a sweet and sassy kitten they later named Corona—after fending off a three-year-old to bring her home. Naturally, one cat wasn’t enough, so they welcomed an orange fluffball named Tabasco into their family two years later. This family of four—Jac, George, Corona, and Tabasco—has lived in several cities, including Richmond, DC, and now Berkeley, CA, where George is attending Haas Business School. Along the way, this team has shared incredible adventures. They embarked on a 12-day cross-country road trip to their new home, learned to snowboard in Colorado, and mastered surfing in Hawaii. They’ve explored caves in Mallorca, hiked the breathtaking trails of Yosemite, savored sushi in Japan, and devoured countless In-N-Out burgers across California. Now, they’re gearing up for their biggest adventure yet—marriage! Jac and George are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you and can’t wait to share this special moment surrounded by the people they love most.
