I was going out with friends after class in nursing school and Colin was meeting up with his brother. We flirted over our never ending OSU vs. Michigan rivarly and decided to exchange numbers. After Colin swooned me with flowers and cupcakes, I decided this guy was worth going out with. And the rest is history.

Through school I had the opportunity to do a clinical rotation on the beautiful island of Oahu. Hawaii, I love you. Colin of course decided to come along and join in on the fun. One weekend, we hopped over to Kauai and hiked the beautiful Napali Coast. Like seriously, google it, it is breathtaking! But while the views were to die for, at some points I actually thought Colin was trying to kill me. It.was.hard. At one point, I told him I wanted to turn back. After convincing me (and now I know for obvious reasons) to keep going we finally made it to the waterfall. While I was standing in amazement that I actually made it up there, Colin managed to sneak away and get on one knee. Luckily I caught my breath by that time to say "Yes!". Major props to Colin for planning that proposal. I will never forget it!
