Known to many as simply "Grotta," John is one of Jacques' best friends from college, AND spent the summer of 2014 being Ann Marie's only friend in St. Louis. Of everyone, we think John was the most shocked when we started dating in 2017, but he had the delight of co-habitating with us from 2018-2019. Good for him.

Who does Ann Marie love more than Jacques? Lauren, probably. Known as Bondy to many who love her, AMS has been calling Lauren "the love of her life" for the past decade, probably to Lauren's chagrin.

One of Jacques' two favorite brothers, Alex is a beer aficionado wrapping up his masters in Portland. Unfortunately for Alex (but fortunately for us), we continue to rudely invite ourselves on vacation with him and his girlfriend, Lindsey, who we adore.

The closest thing Ann Marie will ever have to a brother (sorry TJ and Alex), Joe is Ann Marie's cousin. Joe is brilliant, hysterical and looks like Macaulay Culkin. How nice for him - and all who have the privilege of looking at him.

One of Jacques' two favorite brothers and the pride of Duluth, TJ is a fixture and local celebrity of West Duluth as everyone's favorite mail carrier. Women all over town clamor to set him up with their granddaughters, so single gals, cross your fingers he's still available 10/22/22.

Known to her adoring fans as Whitebread, Elise and AMS have been acquaintances since high school but became close after Elise moved to MN in 2018. Elise has since moved to Milwaukee (rude) but she can't get away from AMS. Not sorry!

Jacques' former roommate, current best friend, and future husband of one of Ann Marie's friends (she hopes), Kyle is an excellent friend and average bowler. He has been running every. SINGLE. DAY for more than four years. He is both impressive and terrifying and we are thrilled to have him with us on our special day.

The other half of The Anns, Anna is Ann Marie's former roommate and college bestie. Before Ann Marie and Jacques were dating, her most frequent bedmate was Anna, where they could usually be found eating queso at 3 AM after a night out.

One of Jacques' fraternity brothers and favorite people, Leo is an absolute gem of a human being. Unlike most of Jacques' frat brothers, Ann Marie had never met Leo before she started dating Jacques, but he quickly rose through the ranks and now ranks in her Top Three Favorites of Jacques' friends.
