Hotel
To book your rooms at Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi, please email ufficioprenotazioni@cenobio.it or cenobio@cenobio.it and indicate that you are booking for the "KEELER WEDDING 27 MAY 2023" with the dates you plan to stay. They will let you know what types of rooms they have available and include a 10% discounted rate! The last day to book a room within our reserved room block is April 1, 2023. After that date, availability is not guaranteed by the hotel. IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT book your room directly through the hotel website - you will not be provided discounted pricing or room availability if you do so. Please note that, while we have blocked off rooms for our guests, there are a few different TYPES of rooms available, each at different prices. Flight
Camogli is accessible from several airports: MXP - Milan Malpensa International (2 to 2 ½ hours drive). For most U.S. travelers wanting to fly direct to Italy, this will be the best (and only) option. GOA - Genoa Cristoforo Colombo (30 minutes drive). Flying to Genoa from the U.S. is possible, but will require connection from other major European airports. Genoa is a convenient option if you are planning other travel within Italy. PSA - Pisa Galileo Galilei (90 minutes drive). Flying to Pisa from the U.S. is also possible, requiring connection from other major European airports.
Travel Note
Taking shuttle transportation, renting your own car, or hiring a car service will be the fastest way to reach Camogli from Milan or Pisa airports. Genoa is more accessible locally by taxi or train. Please note that once you are in Camogli, all events will be nearby to the hotel, so local transportation will not be required. SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN MILAN (CITY) AND CAMOGLI: For guests who wish to travel from Milan to Camogli on either Wednesday, May 24 or Thursday, May 25, we will be providing transportation to Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi in Camogli via bus shuttle service. The shuttle will pick up guests in downtown Milan (NOT at Milan Airport) at a location to be specified, and pickup time is currently planned for 12:00 noon both Wednesday and Thursday. If you are interested in this service, please email jacquelynandjeffrey@gmail.com to let us know your arrival date and time so we can include you in the group transportation. For guests departing Camogli to Milan (city, not airport) on either Sunday, May 28 or Monday, May 29, we will provide shuttle transportation leaving from Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi at 12:00 noon. Please let us know your interest in the group transportation for your departure. CAR RENTAL: Renting a car is one of the easier options for travel to and from Camogli, particularly if you are traveling to other locations before or after the wedding and cannot use the group transportation. All major rental car companies service the Milan, Genoa, and Pisa airports. Driving Directions to Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi in Camogli can be set on your GPS or smartphone app to: Via Nicolò Cuneo, 34, 16032 Camogli GE, Italy *Parking is free for guests of the hotel CAR SERVICE: For those not using our shuttle transportation for arrival or departure, or for those traveling to or from airports or cities other than Milan, we can refer you to a car service for individual pickup in car or van, where you can arrange for your own travel.
Train
The Camogli-San Fruttuoso train station is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi. HOWEVER, train travel between the various airports and Camogli can be complicated and is not recommended unless you are extremely adventurous! It requires various train connections, and there is the potential for delays, closures, strikes etc, so our local experts have advised against it. If you are brave and want to explore rail travel as an option, here are some resources from the various airports: MXP-Milan: Travel to Camogli requires 3 connections, including MXP Airport to Milan Centrale, Milan to Genoa, and Genoa to Camogli-San Fruttuoso. You should look at the following for schedule information: Malpensa Express, MXP-Milan to Milan Centrale - approximately 35-45 minute trip: https://www.milanomalpensa-airport.com/en/from-to/by-train Other connecting travel between Milan, Genoa and Camogli: https://www.trenitalia.com PSA-Pisa: Shuttle trains depart every 5 minutes from the airport to Pisa Central Station, where you can reach connecting trains to Camogli-San Fruttoso. One connecting train is required, and the total travel time ranges between 2 and 2.5 hours. For more information, see: https://www.trenitalia.com/en/services/pisa_airport.html GOA-Genoa: The airport does not have its own train station, so you must get to one of the train stations in the Genoa city center. VOLABUS and Rapid Bus services take passengers to the Piazza Principe or Brignole train station (the city’s main station) in Genoa city center, which takes between 30 to 40 minutes. From either station, travel to Camogli is approximately 35-45 minutes. Taxi to the train stations is likely a faster option, as the airport is located just 7 km from the city center.
