We’re getting married

Calvin and Jacquelyn met at A.L Brown High School in Kannapolis, NC. Actually a teacher introduced them which is why they both respect teachers to this day! Ms.Smith knew Jacquelyn needed to review a presentation for class and ask her to sit at the only computer in the room, which happen to be next to Calvin. Ms. Smith told Jacquelyn to sit next to Calvin he might need a friend in the class. Jacquelyn’s immediate answer was no, she explained how Calvin had a mean mug and didn’t look like he wanted any new friends. Ms. Smith continued to insist even if Jacquelyn didn’t want to sit next to Calvin that was the only computer in the room to do her presentation on. So Jacquelyn decided to go to the computer beside Calvin and work. Calvin and Jacquelyn began to speak while she sat by the computer and a wonderful friendship began.

Calvin and Jacquelyn remained friends through high school and as each graduated going on to college. Calvin attended A&T University and Jacquelyn attended University of North Carolina at Greensboro allowing the two to grow from high school buds to lifelong best friends.As their friendship began to grow so did their love for each other. In October 2015 Jacquelyn and Calvin began to recognize their feelings for each other. While dating their best friend seemed scary at first Calvin and Jacquelyn decided early in their relationship to put God at the center. They both believe although some times the relationship was not perfect, because God was the center they always found each other and fall more in love every day.
