We met at Colorado School of Mines right before Blake's graduation in 2017. Our three month anniversary was spent driving 18 hours from Colorado to Ohio for Blake's student teaching job back in his hometown. Upon completion a year later, we got tired of long distance and Blake decided to move back to Colorado to share in Jacquelyn's senior year. Graduation came around again for Jacquelyn and this time we decided to move to Minnesota for another job opportunity. Fast forward to today, six years later, we're moving to Columbia, MO soon after the wedding with our dog Ellie for a new adventure. From Colorado, to Ohio, to Minnesota, to Missouri, our love has proven to truly have no borders. We can't wait to see where life takes us next!

For a summer vacation, we went to an all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We were having a romantic private dinner on the beach when our special song (and soon to be first dance song!) started playing on a speaker. Then the hotel staff held up big signs saying "Will You Marry Me?" and of course the answer was immediately yes! It was a beautiful and memorable engagement and an even better vacation. We hope to go back soon (honeymoon maybe?)
