We're getting married!

Our story began in optometry school, where we first met as classmates—both working toward the same dream of becoming optometrists. Walt, a year ahead of Jacqueline in the program, was part of the group she looked up to. We shared classes, study sessions, and, of course, a passion for optometry. But it wasn’t until we started spending time together outside of school that we realized just how much we truly connected.

It wasn’t until November 2022 that everything changed. We had the chance to go on an optometry mission trip to Jamaica, where we provided glasses to children in need. Surrounded by the beauty of the island and the meaningful work we were doing, we realized just how much we meant to each other. That trip was a turning point where we officially started dating, marking the beginning of this unforgettable journey together.

Fast forward to today, and we are thrilled to be celebrating our wedding on that same date—November 8th. From study partners to life partners, our relationship has grown stronger with each passing year. We can’t wait to continue this adventure together, and we’re so grateful to have all of you here to share in this special moment.

We’re beyond grateful to everyone who has been a part of our journey. We’re so lucky to have each and every one of you in our lives. We can’t wait to share this special day with all of you who have made our story so much more meaningful.
