Tom- "My earliest memory of Jacqueline was in September of 2020. I was working out at the gym and I walked to the front desk to ask a question (No idea what I asked). I heard her voice, but I could only see her eyes because of the mask mandates... but I remember thinking she had very pretty eyes and I was excited because I knew I'd be working with her! In the next two months, we had a few shifts together and I became interested in Jacqueline. She was easy to talk to, was a great listener, a great worker, and ultimately I wanted to get to know her more. In November, some friends were having "Art Night," so I invited Jacqueline... but she was... "busy." Over Christmas break, I thought more about her and we texted a little bit. My intention was when I returned to Liberty, I would eventually go on a date with her. I used my classic pick-up line (100% success rate... ask me about it later), and we got coffee together. A few weeks later after seeing each other more, I asked her to an official date, and a few weeks after that we were officially boyfriend-girlfriend.
I remember first meeting Tom when he came up to the front desk where we both worked. I was new, but I knew he worked there because I had seen him around before. We worked a couple of weekend shifts together, but we still didn't know each other that well. The night before Christmas break, Tom asked me to art night! I wanted to go, but I had a paper (don't worry, it wasn't an excuse)! Over break, he would message me here and there. I was excited because he was fun to talk to, and he seemed like someone I could enjoy being around. When we came back from Christmas break, he used (what he calls) his 100% success rate line, which led to us eventually hanging out. The more time I spent with Tom, the more I began to see his love for the Lord and his family, which I admired. I also began to admire his character! Tom is hardworking, faithful, caring, wise, intelligent, very funny, and loves his loved ones well. Soon after our first date, we became official! Tom has been my greatest blessing, and I find myself falling more in love with him more and more each day. I can't wait to marry my best friend!
