The old cliche, never date someone you work with. Well, we never said we were smart. Paul works as a subcontractor installing flooring, and I work on the showroom floor in sales. We kept running into each other but never really had a chance to talk. I’d notice everytime he was around and wondered who he was and if he was noticing me. He did! He would ask his coworker “Who is that girl?” or “What’s up with Jackie?” To which the answer would always be “No!” Or “Leave her alone!” Needless to say the attraction was magnetic and the universe couldn’t keep us away from each other. We finally got the chance to have a chat and our first conversation, although somewhat awkward, flowed as natural as the waves in the sea. After that first talk we couldn’t keep from sharing every moment of everyday with each other. We know we’re not conventional in any sense of the word. We haven’t been dating long at all. Most people laugh when we tell them we are getting married. I always knew it would be like this for me. I don’t need a number years to know how I feel about someone. He is my person. The most wonderful man I’ve ever met. He makes me want to be a better person and he brings my chaotic life, peace. Everyday is exciting and new with him. I couldn’t choose which is my favorite; between waking up next to him in the mornings or going to sleep in his arms every night. We can’t wait to build on this wonderful life we’re creating together. We are blessed to have friends and family who support us as we embark on our future together. Thank you all for checking out our page. See you at the wedding!!
