Resort restaurant dress code?

Some restaurants at the resort do have a dress code! For a few, long pants and no sandals for men. I’m not sure how much they enforce but be prepared!

Does the hotel have events?

Answer

Different events every day including dance lessons, a white out party, foam pool party, neon party, etc. The events are set only a few days prior and can be found via the app/website: https://appmecm.majestic-resorts.com/?mibextid= There are two restaurants on the resort that require reservations. These reservations cannot be made until you arrive to the resort. You may make your reservation through the front desk or your butler (Elegance Club side only). Additionally, the resort does offer spa and beauty parlor services, excursions and water activities, souvenir shopping, etc. Most of these do cost extra so please budget accordingly and bring cash if interested.

How do I get from the airport (in Cancun, Mexico) to the resort?

Answer

Round trip transportation is included when booking through our room block with destinationweddings.com. Please note, this is NOT private transportation and they may stop at other resorts to drop off guests along the way. If you’d like to book private transportation, you can do so by contacting Sonia @ sestrada@destinationweddings.com. About a month before our departure, you will receive an email from Destination Weddings with a link to enter your flight information. A driver from Lomas Travel will be waiting for you upon your arrival to Cancun International Airport. After arriving to the airport and getting through customs, DO NOT stop in the airport until you get to the taxi area outside where Lomas Travel will be waiting. Many will try to stop you to sell timeshares or offer rides and are NOT official taxis.

-Save the customs form that you are given on arrival. You will need it to return home. It is $40 per person if you lose it, CASH ONLY! To save time, you can also complete the forms online and print *up to 30 days* prior to arrival here: https://www.mexicotouristcard.com/ -have a printed copy of your flight and hotel information (or screenshots) for the customs form just in case your internet does not work in the airport -for international flights, you should plan to arrive to the airport at least 3 hours early -cash to tip is always welcome by staff (USD) -don’t forget your sunscreen, floppy hats, floaties, and any meds that you might need! -download WHATSAPP for communication. We will make a group chat to share information while at the resort -experts recommend starting a probiotic at least a week prior to your tribute and continuing it for the duration of your stay. Another helpful tip? Drink only bottled water!! -
