FAQs

Question

How and when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP through the website link by Sunday 6 September. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to count you as a 'not attending'.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love everyone to feel elegant and confident as we celebrate together, so we invite you to dress in formal attire. We kindly ask that white, ivory and cream tones are reserved for the bride and bridal party.

Question

Are plus-one's allowed?

Answer

No, we’re unfortunately not able to accommodate plus ones due to venue capacity. We hope you understand and can still join us to celebrate - it means a lot to have you there.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

With the exception of some of our immediate family, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Your children are very welcome to attend the ceremony and afternoon refreshments, however the reception will be adults-only.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

We recommend ride share where possible. Peppercorn Reserve, Drummoyne Sailing Club and Ecco Ristorante are all located on St Georges Crescent within walking distance of each other. There is some street parking available but often difficult to find due to high-density residential apartments, narrow road sections, and proximity to the waterfront. There is very limited parking available at the Sailing Club. You can park overnight at Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet, as the car park operates 24/7. However, parking is around $40 if left overnight. Please see carpark T&C's.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

See the breakdown of locations and addresses on the schedule tab. The Ceremony will be held at Peppercorn Reserve, the Afternoon Drinks downstairs at the Drummoyne Sailing Club, followed by the official Reception above the Sailing Club at Ecco Ristorante. Peppercorn Reserve is down a short path and a few stairs. The Reserve is a 5-minute walk to the Sailing Club and Ecco. Please note there are no bathroom facilities at the Reserve. The closest facilities are Drummoyne Sailing Club.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30pm for a 4:00pm ceremony start. As it’s a Friday afternoon, Sydney traffic can be a little unpredictable (to put it politely), so we recommend allowing a bit of extra travel time. If you happen to arrive early, the Sailing Club is open for walk-ins and is a 5 minute walk from the ceremony location.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

We are so thankful you’ll be joining us to celebrate our love, your presence truly is a gift. There will be a designated space at the reception for cards and well wishes. While gifts are not expected, we have created a registry with David Jones for items for our newlywed home. The registry ID is G00255259.

Question

Is it ok to take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony will be phone-free, so we’d love for you to keep your phones tucked away, on silent, and leave the photos and videos to the professionals (who promise to get a much better angle than the aisle seats!). Once we’ve said 'I do' and are making our way back down the aisle, you’re more than welcome to snap some special moments of us - and with us!

Question

Will there be any special dietary options?

Answer

Yes! We’ll do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements. If you have specific requirements, please let us know before 28 August. Include in your RSVP and email - jacquelinedawn.c@gmail.com
