Oliver and Jacqueline met on the World Wide Web (thanks Bumble) in July 2017. Their first date was at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel followed by a walk over to Pete's Tavern for a night cap. The rest is history... In March 2020 when the world was shut down and under quarantine, Oliver and Jacqueline began to work from home together in their one bedroom apartment. They spent many days staring out of their window looking into Brooklyn. Directly across the East River they can see the Greenpoint Water Tower. It became a symbol of hope (and now love) during such an uncertain time. It was still cold outside in the beginning of quarantine, and they kept suggesting that once it was warmer they would walk over to Brooklyn and checkout the tower. 89 days later, on June 13, 2020 they finally made it over to Brooklyn where Oliver got down on one knee, under the water tower, and asked Jacqueline to be his wife. To his pleasant surprise, she said yes... Given the current circumstances, Oliver and Jacqueline will have a small ceremony on May 22nd, immediately followed by a cocktail reception at The Crown. They can't wait to celebrate their marriage with you in NYC.
