What date do I need to RSVP by and how do I RSVP?

Where is the venue and how do I get there?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place on the rooftop deck of the La Jolla Cove Hotel. When you arrive, look for the sign at the entrance that reads “Jacqueline & Keith’s Wedding.” Please enter the lobby, turn right, and take the elevator to the 5th floor (it’s a bit slow, so thank you for your patience!). Once you arrive, turn left and head up the stairs to the rooftop venue to join the celebration!

What time do I need to arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that you allow extra time for traffic and parking, as La Jolla is known for heavy congestion both off the freeway and throughout town. Please plan accordingly to ensure you are seated and settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking near the beach can be a bit limited, so we recommend arriving a little early to allow time to find a spot. There are a few spaces in front of the hotel, as well as nearby public parking garages. If needed, valet service is available at La Valencia Hotel, and it’s just a short, easy walk from there to the venue.

Due to limited space, we are only able to invite the individuals named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are my children invited to the wedding?

Answer

To make our day as special and comfortable as possible, we have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What is the dress code for the evening?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Guests are encouraged to dress in elegant, polished clothing such as long evening gowns or dressy cocktail dresses for women, and tuxedos or dark suits with dress shirts and ties for men.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be held entirely outdoors, so please dress comfortably and plan your outfit with the weather in mind. We recommend bringing a jacket or a wrap just in case!

Can we take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” Kindly keep phones on silent and out of sight during the ceremony. We’ve entrusted professionals to capture this meaningful moment. Afterward, we’d love for you to join in capturing the celebration!

What time does the bar open and is it an open bar?

Answer

The bar will be open after the ceremony — drinks are on us! Celebrate, sip, and enjoy… just be sure you’ve got a safe ride home!
