Justin and Jacqueline met on a fated day in April 2016. Justin was living in Morningside Heights, Manhattan blocks away from Jacqueline, a junior at Columbia University, residing in her sorority house. Jacqueline downloaded the app Tinder and decided to give it a swing. Justin's profile was the first Jacqueline landed on, and she excitedly swiped "yes" after seeing Justin's profile that said he was studying to become a doctor but wouldn't mind taking care of the family for his strong future wife. Score! A few days later, on April 19, 2016, they went on their first date, which was very long. At first, they went to a cafe near the docks on the west side of upper Manhattan, and Jacqueline was so nervous that lettuce was coming out of her mouth as she ate. Justin decided they needed to go on a second first date, and so they walked over to the French Roast where they shared a much-needed bottle of champagne. The first two weeks of their relationship were a whirlwind! J&J had the same vision of the future, the same big dreams, and more than anything, they believed in each other. They were inseparable after that first date and professed their love on May 2, 2016. However, as with any great love story, they were faced with a crossroads at the beginning of June. Justin was planning to move to Paris for a year before starting medical school, and Jacqueline was moving to San Francisco on June 2 for the summer to intern at Google. Jacqueline thought their fate was sealed until Justin surprised her at Google's campus and told her he wanted to be anywhere with her. The rest is a crazy history of growing in love, facing many difficult times together, starting a business, moving more than 5 times in 6 years, and now, awaiting their first baby's birth in September 2022 - a sweet girl named Reza.

2016 - Met in April, spent the summer at Google, Jacqueline graduated in the Fall, Moved in Together 2017 - Adopted Meatball, started SeedX, moved to Barcelona 2018 - Moved to New York then Los Angeles 2019 - Adopted Dino 2020 - Moved to Austin and went through crazy growing pains with SeedX, got engaged 2021 - Wedding planning commenced and adopted Wally 2022 - Became pregnant with Baby Reza, pushed back wedding, and eloped!

Justin proposed to Jacqueline on December 19, 2020, after finally convincing our parents to visit Austin amidst the fears of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their house was decorated for Christmas, Dino and Meatball had Christmas sweaters on, and their family was dressed in matching pajamas. Jacqueline and Justin had special onesies on. Since their parents could not stay through Christmas, they had a faux "Christmas breakfast" planned for this day. Somewhere between sipping mimosas and starting to eat pancakes, Justin got up and proposed to Jacqueline in front of their closest relatives. Jacqueline said "Yes!" and grabbed the ring because she was shocked at how beautiful it was. Justin had custom designed it with an old friend of theirs, Shahla Karimi, and based the design on Jacqueline and Justin's love of Alice in Wonderland.
