Bring your dress or suit onboard as a carry-on!

It's best to take your dress or suit as a carry-on, that way it doesn't leave your sight while traveling. Consider taking it on the plane with you in a garment bag that can't be seen through. And, if it's small enough to pack in your carry-on, make sure to add a bright ribbon or tag so you can easily detect and differentiate it. If you choose this option, you'll need to confirm that your garment bag fits your airline's carry-on size.
