Cocktail

NO CARS ALLOWED: Unless I have contacted you, no cars are allowed on property. We are providing bus service from the H10 Imperial Tarraco. Busses leave at 5:30, and will bring everyone back afterward. If you would like to leave the wedding earlier, you can order at taxi from the venue. Ladies, the venue is a combination of lawn and gravel; plan your shoes with this in consideration. (The reception will be held indoors.) Children will be welcome at the ceremony and we will provide onsite child care through the cocktail hour and dinner. (4 hours) We will be serving chicken tenders for the littles, so if they don't like that call me so we can plan around it :) The venue is a 15 min drive from the hotel. If you are taking a taxi please plan accordingly. You can always leave the wedding early if the party goes too long for you. Please note it takes about 30 mins for taxis to arrive once called.

Paella on the Beach

Join us at the beach, where I spent almost every childhood summer day! We will be having a post-wedding recovery paella on the beach. Please let me know if you plan to attend. (This is a non-hosted event, so will include a cost. I will let you know prices ASAP. There is more available than just paella for those of you who aren't rice fans :)

Barcelona

We will take the train to Barcelona on Saturday, have a private tour on Sunday and then take the train north on Monday. Barcelona Tour

San Sebastian / Pamplona

Unfortunately, train schedules in Spain are up in the air at this time as the country is renovating the whole train track system. As a backup, Jason and I have booked refundable tickets from BCN to San Sebastian: Barcelona (BCN) to Donostia-San Sebastián (EAS) Mon, Jul 6 · 4:05 PM - Mon, Jul 6 · 5:20 PM Direct · 1h 15m · Economy Iberia · IB5429 This will be great for beach lovers and the adventurous! Jason and anyone else who wants to join will be running with the bulls on the 7th. (See more info below) I'll likely be beaching, but he still working on me to go and observe. But for those of you who prefer to lounge, sip, and tapa it up...San Sebastian is the place We will be staying at Hotel Zenit Convento San Martín

Running of the Bulls (San Fermin)

4:00 am - 4:30 pm

You are welcome to join the group who will be getting up insanely early and doing the running with the bulls. We will provide a shuttle to and from Pamplona. Please be sure to RSVP for this so we have the right sized vehicle. Jason will coordinate with those of you doing this. THE RUN 4:30am: Wake up in San Sebastián 4:45am: Depart for Pamplona (hire driver or designated driver if renting car) 6:15am: Arrive Pamplona (1 hour 15 min drive) 6:30am: Claim your spot on the route 7:30am: Corralling begins 8:00am: Bulls released - THE RUN (8 minutes of chaos) 9:00am-2pm: Celebrate, breakfast, recover, watch festivities 2:00pm: Return to San Sebastián Afternoon/Evening: Beach, pintxos bars, recover in civilization Running Advice: Stay completely sober Wear White clothes, red bandana (traditional), closed-toe shoes with good grip, nothing loose For first-timers: Run the final stretch (Telefónica to bullring) - safer but still thrilling
