My oldest sister Jenny (Juney) often reminds me of the days when she put me in my shoes and walked me to school. She never lets me forget! So, I never let her forget the time I had to cross the street alone because she told me to run home since I had to use the restroom. I remember being scared to cross the road, but I could see Jenny watching me from afar. As I am older now, I am thankful she took care of me and realize those memories she and I share played a huge role in my life. Thanks to my big sister, I can take a leap in life more often; if anything fails, I know my big sister will be right behind me. She is always down for any adventure, no matter how crazy it may seem. You see, even though I can be a lot to handle, my sister puts up with me at the end of the day. No matter what, she is stuck with me. As the Spider-Man movie puts it, "You ain't going nowhere," and on my wedding day, I'm honored Juney will be standing by my side. I love you Juney and thank you for introducing me to the love of my life!
Bride's Something Blue
In my eyes, Christy (Titi) is the smarty pants, or at least I like to think so. She is a constant reminder to me that anything is possible. I can always find comfort in her words, "It's okay, chaparra". One day I hope to be as bright as her. When we were younger, we would always share rooms. I knew I was her favorite, haha jk. Christy always wants the best for me and our family. I know if I am looking for a straight honest answer, Titi is that person. She is an undercover party animal, I love it! She even tried showing me how to take a shot, many times. Mission was not a success but worth the shot hahaha. “Now that we’re grown, nothings changed, you’re still my sunshine, my only sunshine, I love you Titi.”
Bride's Something Blue
Jess and I are closest in age so this means we fought a lot when we were younger but our fights didn’t last long. We quickly wanted to go back to playing our make-believe games. I like to think Jessica (Kuka) is the toughest one from all of us. Which makes sense since she also eats the most tortillas. Kuka and I were very close when we were younger. We would even have sister dates often and grab sushi together. We worked together when she got me my first job at Forever 21. Those were the good times, and although I miss those days so much I know there are many better days yet to come. Kuka has been there through the laughs, cries, and everything in between. She is the one that always reminds me of who I am, and how much I can do. I love you Kuka and I’m blessed to have you as a big sister.

Maid of Honor
Fourteen years ago, Frances and I met at her sleepover. Even though I was not initially invited, that did not matter because, after a few minutes, I knew I was meant to be there to meet her. Not even her dog nearly killing me could stop us from being friends. As years went by, our friendship grew closer. Frances is the friend I can always count on to take spontaneous trips or simply go on walks and enjoy each other’s company. One of my many favorite memories with her is going to San Diego and seeing the bioluminescence in the water. Looking back, I can connect the bioluminescence in the water as a symbol of what Frances means to me. She is a light in my life that reminds me that the sun will come up. Together we laugh like no one is watching, even though everyone is strangely staring at us hahaha! She has made a tremendous impact in my life. Having her stand by my side means the world to me. I love you Franky!
Bridesmaid
Ileana and I met in 2015, the second semester of our first year in college. I will never forget walking into the CCC room and seeing her with many friends. I remember hesitating and wondering, "Is she going to like me?" The crazy thing is we clicked right away! And she has been one of my best friends ever since. She is my wild half who never lets me do embarrassing things alone. She will make sure to stand next to me and watch, haha. In college, we made a promise always to celebrate Spring break together, and now that we are both pursuing our master's degrees, I know we have many Spring break trips to plan. Ileana is someone I can go to for honesty and guidance, and I can’t wait to have her stand by me on my wedding day.

I met Melissa in my sophomore year in high school through my best friend, Cassandra. I remember when I first met Melissa, I was troubled about how much time my best friend spent with her, but now I see why. Melissa is as sweet as a nothingbundt cake. She is a very caring, loving, and selfless person; who wouldn’t want to spend time with her. Plus, her favorite color is yellow, just like me, a perfect match. Melissa is one of the strongest women I know and has supported me through some of my toughest paths in life, and on and on my wedding day, she will be by my side in one of the happiest moments yet to come.
