This airport (BJX) is a 30 minute drive from Guanajuato city. For our Irish, freckled friends and family: • You can travel with Delta / American Airlines with a stopover in the US. • Aerlingus now have a direct Dublin to Cancun route. This would involve an overnight in Cancun and flying to Leon/Bajio (BJX) with a different airline (Volaris/Viva Aerobus) the following day. • You can travel from a major European airport (Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam) with a stopover in México city.
