Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

To help with our planning please RSVP as soon as possible, however the deadline is July 21st. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as no. We need to provide the venue with the total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand!

Question

Will children be allowed?

Answer

While we love the little ones, we kindly ask that they not be in attendance for the parade, welcome party, or wedding.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Let's get the party started! Arriving on Wednesday sets you up for all of the scheduled wedding events starting on Thursday at 5pm. If you arrive Thursday, please factor in 2hrs of travel time.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you received a +1 they will be listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not use your phones during our ceremony, as we want everyone to be unplugged. We will have our professional photographer ready to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

San Miguel in November will be warm in the 70's during the day and 50's at night. The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be under tents with heaters to help with any chill.

Question

How do we get around the city?

Answer

You’ll want to stay within a few blocks of the city center/church (Jardín Allende) and our venue is 3 blocks south of this area next to Parque Benito Juarez. The venue, welcome party, and parade are all within a few minute walk of that area. We rarely take a cab, but on the actual wedding day I would recommend cabs (you’ll need pesos for cash) since the streets are cobblestone and hard to walk in heels. Cabs have normally cost us between $4-$10 to close distances within the main area.

Question

Do we need cash for the trip?

Answer

While most places in San Miguel de Allende accept credit cards, it’s a good idea to bring some Mexican pesos for markets, taxis, and smaller vendors. There are ATMs available throughout the town if needed.

Question

Is San Miguel de Allende safe?

Answer

Yes! It has actually been named the "World's Best City" by Travel & Leisure multiple times and is one of the safest cities in Mexico.
