Do I have to wear shoes on the beach?

Answer

Normally we’d say no, however Sanibel is well known for their seashell beaches. It’s more rocky than smooth & sandy. Shoes might be required.

Do I need formal wear?

Answer

No. It’s a beach wedding. Keep it classy casual and ties optional!

Do I need a car?

Answer

If you’re from out of state, it’s optional. Navigating around Ft Myers, use Uber or any share riding service. But on Sanibel, Uber is less likely to drive in and definitely out of the island. I suggest using some of the islands cab services or take a bike! Sanibel Island Taxi Inc (239) 472-4160

Yes, there is. If you’d like to stay in Fort Myers ahead of the wedding, you can stay at the Crown Plaza in Bell Tower. It's centrally located and within walking distance to food.
