Flight
Roughly 30 minute drive to Freeport, PWM is the most convenient airport to consider. All major rental car companies operate out of PWM. We recommend booking your car far in advance to avoid late-summer peak pricing.
Flight
We understand that flying through PWM can result in a few connections for folks. Flying through Boston is a suitable alternative. You can rent a car or take the very reliable and efficient Concord Coachlines to Portland. A ~2-hour drive either way.
Rental Car
Renting a Car – We highly encourage all parties to rent a car because public transportation and Uber/Taxi options in Southern Maine are sparse. This will allow you to explore and enjoy all Maine has to offer without limitation. If you’re planning to rent a car in Portland, we recommend that you reserve one ASAP. Rentals in Portland can be incredibly limited at this time of year. Rentals out of Boston are more readily available, but we still recommend reserving in advance.

Day of Wedding Transportation – All guests will be required to take the provided transportation to 1 Cove Road. If you show up in a car, we will turn you away. There will be 2 shuttles running at a time, beginning at TBD p.m. The pickup locations are as follows: 1. 2. After dinner, shuttles will run continuously until the end of the evening.
