Little did Brian know when he and his friends invaded a girls night, he should have gotten a larger size of the Mac and cheese. Besides being polite and saying hi, Brian’s first full sentence to Jacqui was “...can she have this..?” You see two year old Lillie’s most favorite food in the world was wawa Mac and cheese; So when Brian opened the container and started eating it, she set her sights on him. Like a shark she could smell it from a mile away. Thinking a single noodle could satiate this mini terrorist, he reluctantly gave her a bite. Little did he know she would climb on his lap and open her mouth demanding more. The thing you have to remember here is that Brian does not like sharing food, but he did for this cute, tiny robber.

They figured out they both like going to the gun range and shooting. So they got a small group of friends to plan an outing at the range. One by one the small group of friends dropped out, leaving only the two of them left to go. They had a great time. After some shooting they went for food. Not wanting Brian to think this had just turned into a date, Jacqui attempted to pay for her own meal -just two friends hanging out. She failed miserably. You see it wasn’t because she didn’t like Brian. Her life was complicated. She had only been separated from the father of her child for a short time before meeting Brian. She promised herself, she wouldn’t jump into another relationship, that she would focus on finishing school and being the best mom she could be.

Brian and Jacqui had been hanging out for a while at this point. And his persistence in being in her life was making it hard to deny her feelings. They went to peddlers village after the holidays to look at the lights. After wandering around in the cold they went to wawa for some hot chocolate. While in the parking lot, drinking hot chocolate, they talked and laughed for a long time. When Brian pulls out a pack of gum. Normally this would have no significance whatsoever, but this pack of gum had truth or dare labels on each piece of gum. Brians piece was a dare, he had to sing to a stranger. Lucky for them, a wawa worker was taking a break in her car. He picked a song, rolled down the window and begin singing what is now their song.
