Our Dream Elopement

September 22, 2026

Hey family and friends! You all know that Bradyn and I are avid travelers. We live and breathe adventure! So, we decided that we want our wedding to be an adventure. On September 22, 2026 we are eloping in Northern Ireland. Whoo hoo! We are so excited, but of course we want to gather all of our family and friends for a celebration! After we get back from our elopement/honeymoon we will be having a dinner party at Brewer's Alley on October 17. We hope everyone can come and celebrate! Thank you all for being in our lives. We love and appreciate you!

The Proposal

December 4, 2025

Bradyn planned a whole trip for us that I didn't know about! He only told me a week before our flight and would not tell me where we were going. The only hint I had was from his niece when she accidentally said “you should go to the gum wall.” This was the night before our flight and that confirmed to me that we were going to Seattle! Of course, I told Bradyn about what I heard and he proceeded to gaslight me into thinking we were going to Salt Lake City. In fact, he actually gaslit me about a lot of things before our trip. A few days before he said he had no ring and that he was bidding on gemstones and precious metals on ebay. Naturally, I decided to not get my hopes up as our travel day began. When we got to the airport, Bradyn hid the flight information from me so I still had no idea where we were going. To my dismay, we boarded a flight to Salt Lake City. “Noooo”, I thought. He was actually taking me to SLC. For the duration of the flight I grilled him about what was happening and told him that this was all very random. He didn’t give in once. When we arrived in Salt Lake City, we did not go to collect our bags and he finally told me that we were actually going to Seattle! While I was excited to go there, I was dreading the layover and getting on another plane. Little did I know that the travel day was not even close to being over. We reached Seattle and picked up a rental car. I thought we were going to stay with his uncle, but no, we had another 2 and a half hours of driving. I grew concerned as we trekked through snowy mountain passes in our Kia Soul. We drove through pine forests with no cell service for 45 miles. When we reached our destination, I was so happy and relieved to be in Leavenworth, WA! This was one of our favorite places we’ve visited! We crashed into our Airbnb and woke up to a beautiful mountain view. I suggested we go to a cafe for breakfast and we received the biggest pancake I had ever seen. It was amazing! After breakfast, we drove around the canyons and saw the reindeer farm. We stopped frequently to look at the river. We made it up to Wenatchee lake and then we drove back. Bradyn told me he wanted to stop at this one spot he saw when we drove by earlier. He quickly peeled off of the road at this spot and said that we needed to walk around. I reluctantly exited the car and walked through the snow. We went to the river and admired the beauty of the canyon covered in snow. Bradyn abruptly walked away and said he had to pee in the woods which kind of killed the mood. I took a video of him because I thought it was funny and he came back all flustered. He said we should get a video of us doing one of my funny jumps in the air I used to call my frog jump. He told me that I needed to show him how to do it, and so I did. We got one synchronized jump in and then he dropped to one knee. I had already been laughing, and at this point I could not stop. I continued laughing as Bradyn asked me to marry him, but was able to choke out a “yeah.” He slid the ring on my finger and got off one knee. We both laughed, holding each other tightly. We spent the next week exploring the Pacific Northwest!
