We met at TJ's comic shop in Milford during a night of Dungeons and Dragons. While we weren't at the same table, she had brought in some homemade fudge and it was irresistible so naturally I was drawn when she offered us some. When the campaign there had ended she offered me an invitation to her house to join a Curse of Strahd campaign that our Officiant, Steve, was running. One thing led to another and we began talking and playing games together, staying up late and falling asleep while playing because we were having so much fun together. And now look at us, two love birds in one home.

I was lucky enough to run into Lance in one of the very places I had never thought I'd find myself in- a game store. Milford has always been a special place for me, but never did I dream of finding my future husband there. (Thank you for suggesting I go, Anderson) One time watching a game of D&D being played and I was hooked. I joined a table and made some of my closest friends there. Lance was at another table but he has one of the loudest, most contagious laughs I've ever herd. I love it more than words can express. After luring him in with cookies & fudge, we found our mutual love for mice, music and games. We stayed up way too late playing video games and falling asleep in chat instead of hanging up, so we moved in together. It's been wonderful getting to spend so much time with him and our friends and fur babies over the past years. I can't wait to continue hosting games together, enjoying concerts with each other and spending the rest of my life with him. So I can stare at his beautiful eyes, glowing smile and hear his infectious laugh forever.

I met Jackie before either of us could write full sentences. We have been a constant part of each other’s lives and have helped each other grow into the people we are today. Although we can both write well now, please don’t ask us to spell anything for you.

Jackie and Liz were best of friends in middle school. Despite being separated for several years they found their way back to one another. Now they spend their days sending cat pics to each other and having craft nights.

"I met Lance too long ago to remember at this point. In a musty game shop basement, our first interaction was one of dice rolling and dirty jokes. We became fast friends and spent a summer hanging out almost every day. For years, we have been each other's source of bad ideas and "we almost died" moments, but somehow we are alive. Lance and I made a lot of dumb choices together, but also helped each other through some very dark times. He lived with me and my parents, and became like another son to them. In him, I've found another brother, and he will be counted as family for the rest of our lives. I'm so proud of where he's come, and I'm so excited to see the life in his eyes when he looks at Jackie. I can't wait to see these two make their own experiences, tough maybe a little less dangerous than lance and I's."

"I met and got to know Lance through a series of happy accidents. Most of which involved faulty directions. A wrong turn to find him walking on the side of the road, a wrong exit taking us through his home town, or trying to get to Griswold and ending up in Colchester... 30 minutes in the opposite direction. Needless to say, don't look to Lance for directions, do look to him if you're in want of a good friend. It's worked for me!"

"I met Jackie and Lance back in 2019 at beginners night D&D at TJs. The love of the game brought us to weekly games hosted at Jackie’s house. Inevitably one of them betrayed me. The other lit me on fire and blew me up… bonus points if you figure out who did what. With that being said- Jackie and Lance are some of the kindest and selfless people I get to call friends.
