Spring Training, where the skies are clear, hearts are full and hopeful possibilities abound. In only the way a fresh start can bring, this story's success is also a ring. As is the circle of life, Jacque and Will bumped into each other at the birthday of Megan Klasila in Scottsdale in April 2018. Jacque and Megan grew up close friends and Jacque was looking forward to a weekend of working on her tan. But before we dive into that, we have to rewind the tape back to 2011. Kevin Klasila is one of Will's good friends from Loyola and Santa Clara. And on one fateful night, Kevin's brother, Ryan, came looking for a good time at SCU. With the night winding down, Will introduced Ryan to Megan before heading home. Little did he know that introduction turned into a family. So with memories of the Hut and Blinkey's in mind, Megan, Ryan and Kevin invited Will over to their Air BnB in 2018 to relive the glory days. Standing in the kitchen in a pair of dark jeans and black top with red flowers, Jacque and Will locked eyes for the first time. Will quietly asked Ryan, " Who's that?" to which Ryan replied with his trademark eyebrow raise, "That's Jac-que. She's single!" In true lady killer fashion, Will promptly did nothing. Finally, about an hour later at an old western bar, conversation between J&W was spurred. Thus began the cross country conversation with Jacque in SF and Will in Wilmington. Since all they could do was FaceTime, J&W got to know each other well enough for Jacque to make the crazy decision to fly out to visit "this guy." With Danielle, Jacque's sister, having all of Will's info in case of murder, our happy couple explored the streets of Philadelphia. Thankfully they immediately hit it off and the only Dateline episodes were the ones Jacque made Will watch. The rest, as they say, is history.
