Jacqlyn’s best friend from childhood. 14 years in the making, more than a best friendship, a true sistership. From movies at the Showcase in Revere, late night drives to Orchard Street, Papa Bereir driving them to Square One, to being Khadiga’s MOH at her wedding (and Jacqlyn can't get over how many times you’ve told her she killed it). Khadiga is her sister and the two are the perfect best friend dream team.

Jacqlyn’s first (and only) college best friend, her first college forever friend. There is nothing Jacqlyn can't come to her with, from crying over Vybz coming home from her spay to the overwhelming grief of losing her kindred spirit Memérè to spending hours at Jacqlyn’s basement Halloween parties to hours on Facetime and 8 years of Facetime Christmas Gift Wrapping. Andrée has been a rock in a lot pf hard times, a shoulder to lean on, and a love to laugh with.

They met through one of the hardest times in both of their lives… when their moms were getting chemo treatment together for breast cancer. Their bond is unbreakable. Jacqlyn cannot imagine being anywhere in life without Katie by her side to build her up the way she always does. The adventures they’ve shared have brought them here to the biggest and best one of all.

Jacqlyn feel’s blessed to have such a talented, and sweet young woman in her life whom she can call one of her friends.

There is no one like Kerry Shairs. Marc met Kerry and thought she must have come from Little House on the Prairie. Their classrooms were across from each other at CDC in Lynn and ever since then, Kerry has been the primary motivator, guide, inspiration, mentor, and friend that has made Marc the teacher he is today.

Marika has been Marc’s best friend since their high school days, and have continued to stay friends up until this day—friends through thick and thin. They’ve been through everything together and have loved each other more for it.

Jacqlyn’s Matron of Honor, Khadiga’s husband and a new close friend in Marc’s life. Though they haven’t known each other very long, Marc is excited to have Mev’s support and encouragement as he walks this new journey in his life and is honored to have Mev share the adventure of his wedding day.

Marc’s honorary unofficial but sort of official brother-in-law—Victoria’s boyfriend. Dashing and fun to be around, Pat is a great kid and Marc loves him. Marc is honored to have Pat stand with him on his wedding day.
