October 4, 2025 started like any other Saturday, with plans for a fun afternoon date at a winery. We arrived at Folino Estate Winery for our scheduled tasting, unaware that Steve had secretly arranged a private picnic in the vineyards. After our tasting, we were escorted to a beautiful picnic set among the vines. Surrounded by the vineyard, Steve began talking about our relationship, how much he loves me, and the life we’ve built together. He raised a glass of champagne to toast to our next chapter—and then got down on one knee. He asked me to make marriage our next chapter, and of course, I said yes a million times. Just when I thought the moment couldn’t get any sweeter, Lauren—Steve’s sister—popped out from her hiding spot, having captured the entire proposal on camera. Later that evening, our families surprised us with a celebratory engagement dinner. The final and most heartfelt surprise was seeing my sister, Stefanie, and my niece, Lucy, who traveled all the way from Florida to celebrate with us. It was the most perfect day—one we’ll cherish forever.
