We first met in August 2018 in grad school. We actually met on the first day as anatomy lab partners but little did we know that one day we would become life partners. From long hours in lab to long hours studying in the library, our friendship slowly began to form. By the time we entered our second year of grad school we shared a close group of friends and began to know each other outside of school. Taylor's story: Early in the fall semester of second year, Morgan and I went to the Wilson County Fair with our friends. At some point that night, I realized I was developing feelings for Morgan. Being unsure of my feelings, I decided to give it time to be more certain. As time went on, my feelings were only affirmed as we spent more time together and I witnessed Morgan's beautiful heart, passionate intentionality, and unwavering kindness. Fast forward to February 2020, I finally asked Morgan out (with possibly a small push from her friend Elyse). One thing I learned after the fact is that apparently I should have been a little more specific and actually used the word date... but a couple of non-date dates later, we began our relationship. Morgan's story: Right before our second year of PT school started, after a long day of CPR class, Taylor and I went on a Chick-fil-a run with some of our other friends. After that night I remember thinking how much of a good time I had. Fast forward a few weeks into second year, we decided to go to the Wilson County Fair with a big group of friends, and again I remember thinking how refreshing, fun, and easy the night was with Taylor. Throughout the rest of our second year, Taylor and I had the ability to begin knowing each other alongside our friends and the more I found out about him, the more I enjoyed spending time with him. In that time I learned about his patient, servant-heart and driven mindset. After a few "not date" dates we began to communicate our feelings for each other and our relationship began to flourish.
