Here is our list of Norfolk area recommendations! We've included a few things to do, as well as some food and coffee places we love.
Norfolk Botanical Garden
6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518
This is where Jacob and Kirsten got engaged! The gardens are beautiful to walk around this time of year. May to mid-June is peak bloom for their rose garden. Admission is $24/adult and $16/child.
Chrysler Museum of Art
1 Memorial Place, Norfolk, VA 23510
This is where we are getting married! While the galleries will be closed during our reception, it is worth checking out during the day. Admission is free.
Strawberry Fields Smoothies & Gelato
1510 Colley Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23517
Amazing gelato!! They rotate their flavors regularly, but every one we've tried has been a winner. We love Strawberry Fields so much that we came here after we got engaged at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
Mea Culpa Cafe
2410 Colonial Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23517
Mea Culpa has wonderful coffee and a limited, but delicious, menu. It is our favorite breakfast place when we are in Norfolk. Please note that this is a small space and better suited to small groups.
