The journey began in June of 2024, when Jacob found Violet. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into something truly special, where they were able to see God's hand through their relationship. After talking for about 3 months Jacob drove 9 hours from Florida to South Carolina to meet Violet for the first time. During that visit they went to the arcade for their first date. Jacob wanted to make a good first impression for Violet so he jumped over the car to open the door for her and ended up cracking the car windshield. But he said it was completely worth it because he got to spend time with Violet. From that point on, as they continued to get to know each other they quickly realized that God had brought them into each other's lives for a reason and that he placed a special love in their hearts for one another. In October of that year Jacob took Violet to the mountains and asked her to be his girlfriend. Jacob ended up going to SMBS and during those 6 months he knew that he couldn't imagine his life without Violet. As they began their dating season they spent it growing with the Lord together, they went to youth conferences and even ended up serving on the worship team at Violet's youth camp. On November 4, 2025 he asked her to marry him and to spend the rest of their lives together. SHE SAID YES!!! And together Jacob and Violet look forward to honoring and serving the Lord together through their marriage and begin this new chapter of their lives as husband and wife.
